So much for redundancy. Almost 5 hours of downtime in the last 24 hours. They did however make it through that work attack without any problems.

I'm going to have to totally disagree with you. How long have you been using them? NAC has provided me (indirectly, through my host) with some of the most reliable servers that I've ever had the pleasure to put my website on.

dbbrock1,

Although I don't currently use NAC, I am considering of going with them very soon. I have heard that this is a one time thing as far as they're concerned. Everyone seems to say that they have a great record. Every datacenter that I know of has had their period of downtime, and it's bound to happen.

If that downtime broke any promise of uptime (as long as it was in your contract), you'll be compensated, I'm sure.

Don't go trying to trash the reputation of a company for ONE set of downtime. Especially with a title like "NAC is horrible", try something like "NAC has been down for hours, and that sucks"

NAC down for 5 hours?? come again with some proof please?

From what I understand, nac had a power outage that lasted 20 minutes in colo facility A, and a network attack that lasted 20 minutes today.. I happen to be monitoring the network.

If you have some other info please share it because I'd like to know about it.

Thanks,

I cannot agree with him on 5 hours of downtime, but I certainly noticed a lot more than 20 minutes. From France, I noticed roughly an hour - more like 50 minutes up to the hour.

I ask that you reconsider your statement. What was down, and (if applicable) did you go through your reseller?

That is also true. Resellers have a responsibility of keeping their clients out of the dark, rather than making customers automatically make the connection to Nac, when it isn't always their fault, but a nice scape goat.

I did see that first hand...
