View Full Version : 2checkout VS paysystems(MERCHANT IBA)
:: paVel :: 02-02-2003, 12:59 PM Hello,
Can you please list advantages and disadvantages of:
- 2checkout
- paysystems(MERCHANT IBA)
2checkout:
Suppliers without a US Bank account can have their payments air mailed at no charge or have the option of an international wire payment.
Havent seen paysystems to have that.
What do you think of 2checkout and paysystems(MERCHANT IBA)?
Which one would you choose?
Why?
Thanx
Regards, Pavel
NexusNet 02-02-2003, 01:13 PM Actually I hope this post takes off and we get some good comments in here from past users experiance. I'm also looking for a good one, although I really hear a lot of bad things about both, although I know I have to go with one, so I guess my question is the same , which is the better one?
1upromo 02-02-2003, 02:09 PM You can checkout search hundreds sections on this forum for your needs.
kentlee 02-02-2003, 02:34 PM Hmmmm.....for 2checkout, there are many people complaint about their payment are not punctual and so on, sometimes they delay on reply support tickets. For Paysystems, there are ok so far, payment everything is all right, respond to tickets also fast nowsday. One thing have to add for 2checkout is they are going to offer a VISA Electron card, which you can withdraw your money instantly throughout the world, but now still on the testing phrase, which US resident trying it out.
we are NOT offering a Visa Electron Card.
We are offering an ATM card, linked to a REAL (brick and motar) US Bank account, to our international sellers.
Initial cost of the card is $50.00 (payable from your 2CO funds) of which $25.00 goes "on deposit".
Cost to transfer your funds from 2CO to this US Bank account is zero.

How much to Withdraw from ATM in Australia?
kentlee 02-03-2003, 01:19 PM Ah yes, sorry about that TomD.......confusing over here.....and thanks for your clearification......and also it sounds good for the ATM card.
Pavel, I think each withdraw from overseas bank, it depends on the ATM card issuer.
DensityHost 02-03-2003, 10:19 PM I have had both a 2checkout and a paysystems account.
I recomend 2checkout over paysystems any day. It's much faster navigating, easier to use, easy to customize, and a lot better for webhosting companies as it is much easier to do recurring billing, as it is a little difficult and different to do so in paysystems. That's just my personal preference though, but I still recommend 2checkout.
big_smooth 02-05-2003, 01:00 PM I use paysystems, except for that downtime by the ddos, i find them great.
in terms of numbers, this is how it works if the price range on the item you're sellis is:
From $0.01 - $35.18 (2checkout is cheaper)
From 35.19 - 35.72 (2checkout & revecom are the same.)
$35.73 + (revecom is cheaper)
You can also use Revecom's new Plan B. (5.5% + $0.45.)
interactive6 02-05-2003, 02:08 PM i use paysystems they are ok. They were great when i was starting out. I'm thinking of moving to either modernbill.com or a custom built system.
