After looking at about 20 different hosts and comparing features, I've cut my list down to the 4 hosts above:

- *********
- AddAction.net
- matrix-studio.com
- c0ldhost.com

The 2 that are less risky to me are ********* and AddAction, with ********* being the one I like the most. I've read some comments on AddAction before, so I'm posting this to really get more comments on the other 3 providers. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks. :)

EDIT: Well, H*stma**x is the one I was talking about. Heh.

Well since the name is banned, it can't be that great of a company

I can't really comment on addaction.net and coldhost.com as I have had no experiences with them.

However, I was considering matrix-studio.com for a while because their prices seemed quite decent but after emailing some questions to them about their services they refused to answer any of the emails.

I then checked out h o s t m a t i x and all I can say is that for the short-time I have been with them they are a fantastic host. They answer questions within the hour and they are always helpful and professional. Their prices are good and I can recommend them 100%.

....they apparantly tried to displays their services on WHT under various names. Thus they got banned.

Might be true - or it could also have been just customers trying to sell their services as recommendations!!!

If anyone else has any opinions, I'd appreciate it. Otherwise, I'll go with H*stm*t*x, and if I'm not happy with the service, there's always the 30-day money back guarantee.

Dogga, I would join Dav - host matix is a great hosting company. I've been with them for about 6 months now and I host a few sites with them. Simply fantastic! My previous hosts (except for one) don't come close to the level of service I get at HM!

Matrix Studio is okay if you don't need quick customor support and have a very small site. Matrix Studio moved my site to a semi-dedicated for $99 a month because they said my site kept crashing the server. They disabled my account one day, but didn't bother letting me know until a couple hours before they did it. Though, now that I'm on the semi-dedicated, I haven't had any problems and it's pretty good. It's best to talk to the guy on AIM though, lots more helpful and he's extremely polite.

I think they know for a fact hostma*tix was making other names and recommending their business because the mods can see the ip and easily match it:)

Which one would you and ConcreteHost recommend for around $15/mth, then? I can post the specifics I need if that would help you guys.
