I couldn't sleep at night because of this.

Few months back, I decided to run a small web hosting company, targeting on adult businesses. Hence I got my first box with UCG, simply because it is cheap to start with.

Meet a guy on DALnet, suggested me to partner with him so that he could design some templates for me and my clients. For about 1 and the half months later, I finally found out there were a lot of forums pointing out his work are not original, partially copied from someone else.

I'm upset and cancel the partnership with him once the matter has been brought up in WHT. I didn't even know until a friend of mine told me about this matter.

I've had 22 domains on my UCG server, but the speed is a lot slower than what I thought. Customer support isn't as great as other companies. So, I rented a shared hosting plan from one of the regular posters here, requested two nameservers so that it isn't that obvious for people to find it out (a traceroute would tell though.)

Maybe I was wrong, it isn't as easy as what I thought. I bought a new server from RS last week, and ordered another server at Australia. Buying some softwares like ModernBill, etc to give my current customers a better service.

I am working hard, very hard to take care the server, reading to ensure the highest security. But those don't help. Maybe I am just not experience enough for comparing with so many experts out there.

*SIGH* Would you guys forgive for what I've done? Maybe this is first step out, I learned my lesson very well and promise not to repeat anymore.

Give me some comments of what you think. I'd take any comments, even there are worse than I am going to expect.

My apologize goes to all the posters here. I've also posted the same thread on most forums which point out the design of Zeronax Stodios.

So you broke a partnership with a dishonest guy, and you are trying to run a couple of servers by yourself. What exactly did you do wrong?
Maybe you should look for someone to help you administrate them. Or are you saying you don't want to be in the hosting business at all?

I am confused at what you are apologizing for  You were taken advantage of.. then tried it on your own. That is nothing to be ashamed of.

if you need some help managing them i would suggest www.easyservermanagement.com those guys rock :)

as regards the dodgy bloke, live and learn, lots of people get taken in. thats life. dont get done over the same way twice. otherwise yes since youve seen the light and left ugc for a decent provider, you have your customers best interests at heart i dont see theres anything to forgive.

You did what was right, you seperated from your partner, your giving it your best shot at getting back on track, nothing wrong with that. All I see wrong is that you need a little help with managing some servers. Perhaps hiring some admins, or getting together with one of these people who offer to manage your servers for you. Good luck and Good job in realizing what was wrong and fixing it.

724serv, it seems like you are trying to damn hardest in keeping your business afloat. I see that as a honorable thing.

You were taken advantage of by your business partner, and breaking it off with a dishonest person is the best thing you could of done.
