Andrew 02-01-2003, 04:37 AM Nice offer Gary! How about Colo? Also, any chance of dual SCSI boxes? :)
AussieHosts 02-01-2003, 04:54 AM Yes, we can do a dual SCSI. We have a few spares ready to go right away:
512MB RAM
36GB SCSI
60GB IDE
120GB IDE
We can work these in for a good (once off) price somewhere.
Co-lo? Not yet. Unless you want a server here in Australia. :)

Gary

(Thanks Darth)
Biz: Anything that would be expected to be installed in a hosting environment...modules, common hosting applications. For a single site server, it could be a particular application though. It's a broad question, without a definite answer...except that you wont be disappointed. :)
If you have something specific in mind though, feel free to ask.

GeorgeC 02-02-2003, 10:55 PM It's a shame you have so few units. I may be in the market soon for a dedicated server.
Op3rator 02-02-2003, 11:21 PM Where is this server located? Sorry.

This is just to kickstark things George. Keep an eye on the theserverclub.com for your requirements at a later date, as we are building a more extensive inventory. It's possible a setup fee might be introduced after this lot though.

wacnstac2 02-03-2003, 02:48 PM Can you PM me an IP to ping. I have two websites who's content is about Michigan and Ohio and this might be the perfect place to get a dedicated host for them, saving some hops.
Do you have local people here in the Detroit area to run these servers? Can you PM me some emails of clients I can talk to for references? I run vbulletin and photopost and would need all software to support these including imagemagik, etc.
Is the installation of all this free? Do I have to purchase some sort of ticket package on top of this? What about remote re-boots? What connection do you have with topresellers.com? Can support tickets be bought 1 at a time or are you forced to buy 100 at a time?

Yes we do. No we can't. :)
But if you drop me a line at aussie@aussiehosts.com with a contact address I will forward it to someone to answer any questions you might have of them.

Setup is free at the moment. On the management side, additional blocks of 50 tickets are available. Or if you're after a more custom solution we can arrange something as well. Remote reboot ports aren't provided.
We own www.topresellers.com
Let me know if you have any further queries.

Most of our existing dedicated server clients are long term clients (2yr+) who have progressed on to servers and don't frequent forums, and/or external managed servers. theserverclub.com is a new venture, but you'll find at least one server-related comment in that thread above.
