Hey Everyone,
I own 4 RAQ servers from CobaltRacks and in the past I know that alot of people have been uneasy about this company. Well, they were kinda sorry in their uptime. But, last night they had a UU-NET DS-3 line that came into their datacenter. If found that im getting alot better connection speeds. I have another 2 servers at Rackspace, and they are always fast. Last night (and still today) I have been receiving an overall better experience with my servers at CobaltRacks.
They also have been installing another DS-3 line from AT&T which should put them at a better bandwidth speed. This is a big change from what they had previously been bandwidth wise. I use to have downtime, atleast 3 minutes everyday (unexceptable). Now, i havent had a second!
One thing that you will have to note before signing up is that tech support can be non-exsitant if you have a major problem. I had a server crash, and it was down for 2 days without any help from CobaltRacks.
So, they have their ups and their downs. I would recommend this to anyone who is skilled at RAQ servers since the tech support can be non-exsitant at times.
Just a thought for everyone!
