If they've upgrading the forums then they're probably making a backup of the database.

The search function in vB is very resource intensive and puts a lot of calls on MySQL. There's been errors throughout the day on the forum and turning off the search feature is a good way to cut down all the calls on the database while upgrading and/or troubleshooting.

EDIT: See the above post? The Big Guy and I actually know what we're talking about. :)

I think this makes two days in a row or something...

Yeah, kind of sucks. Well, anyways...

Anybody got the time to read through the 200K posts for information about getting pspell to work? Speficially addressing the following error:

Warning: PSPELL couldn't open the dictionary. reason: I'm sorry I can't find any suitable word lists for the language-tag "en".

If so, please post the results of your manual search here, with links sorted by relevance. :-)
