The search function in vB is very resource intensive and puts a lot of calls on MySQL. There's been errors throughout the day on the forum and turning off the search feature is a good way to cut down all the calls on the database while upgrading and/or troubleshooting. EDIT: See the above post? The Big Guy and I actually know what we're talking about. :) I think this makes two days in a row or something... bteeter 01-31-2003, 11:52 PM Yeah, kind of sucks. Well, anyways... Anybody got the time to read through the 200K posts for information about getting pspell to work? Speficially addressing the following error: Warning: PSPELL couldn't open the dictionary. reason: I'm sorry I can't find any suitable word lists for the language-tag "en". If so, please post the results of your manual search here, with links sorted by relevance. :-) Thanks - Brian Coach 01-31-2003, 11:55 PM Try this... http://www.zend.com/lists/php-dev/200107/msg00918.html http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=Warning%3A+PSPELL+couldn%27t+open+the+dictionary.+reason%3A+I%27m+sorry+I+can%27t+find+any+suitable+word+lists+for+the+language-tag+%22en%22.+ |
