Mythril 01-31-2003, 09:54 PM hi there, well I am intrested in getting the money, rather than trading. I made a trade once and it wasn't really worth it. You can bid if you would like to :)
petertdavis 01-31-2003, 10:01 PM 95 ;)
I just purchased a vB license from Mythril today, I recommend him :)
Fast and smooth transaction. :agree:
ChickenSteak 01-31-2003, 11:08 PM Where is he getting all these licenses is what i want to know :D.
insaneraptor 01-31-2003, 11:12 PM he bought a buncha liscences at one time so he gets adiscount :) buying in bulk
theqase 01-31-2003, 11:12 PM someone asked that a while back and he said that he did a bulk purchase, and some people screwed him on the deal
Mythril 02-01-2003, 05:04 AM yep, but now I ask for upfront payment.:) anyways bid is at 95 I will change the buyout to 110 now
Can you lower it more? Only 7 months left... I would love to buy this one.
You screwed me on a deal before. But you said they offered higher, hope you don't screw me again and accept that you will write that you are selling this to me.
Mythril 02-01-2003, 04:04 PM Sorry is0lized, I cannot lower it :( I didn;t screw you, someone made a higher bid than you. :) I am changing the buyout price one last time to 105. You can still bid now, on this great license
I'll take it as long as you write something up for me like we agreed on the other one.
EDIT: Wait, how much of a transaction fee
Koutaru 02-01-2003, 07:39 PM :o if you could let me pay via paypal, I would probably bid higher
Mythril 02-01-2003, 08:12 PM yes I will accept paypal. This license is still ready for sale. Buyout price is 105 still. :)
How much is the "small transaction fee"
Koutaru 02-01-2003, 10:39 PM I'll buy it for $105
insaneraptor 02-01-2003, 10:48 PM hey mythrill do you accept paypal and do you got anymore liscences left?
If possible please contact me on aim or msn!
Thanks
I said i'll buy one for $105
Just want to know the price of the "transaction" fee
insaneraptor 02-02-2003, 01:42 AM he has more.. thats why i am asking..
oh yes btw whats the transaction fee?
He wants us to pay for him upgrading the account at paypal, which is very stupid.
And complaining over $5 for a vBulletin license is... what exactly? This is no worse than paying for a transfer on a domain name.
Because i m ay not have the money to spend on $5, it's his own fault he upgraded :(
Southernman 02-02-2003, 02:37 AM I sure as heck wish somebody will sell isolized a flipping vb license already... or he'd quit acting like a spoiled child about crap.
Iso... others have tried to sell license here, a few even cheaper than what mythril wants for his, yet you insist to buy one from him. As they say in poker... put up or shuddup.
Mark_TVI 02-02-2003, 02:39 AM Are these licenses valid for 12 months from the date of the sale?
The first post states It expires 09-04-2003
Then you can upgrade for $30
ChickenSteak 02-02-2003, 01:50 PM is0lized how old are you?
Mark_TVI 02-02-2003, 02:09 PM Ok I may be missing things here but he wants $115.00 for a license that expires in 7 months. You can buy a license from vbulletin directly for $85.00 for the entire year. You can also buy a license from vbulletin that never expires for $160.00.
Leased License - $85
A leased license grants you the right to run vBulletin on one web server and one web site for each license purchased for 1 year from date of order. Each license may power one instance of vBulletin on one domain. During the year, you will have unlimited access to the member area, where you can download updated versions of the software. At the end of the year, you must purchase another license in order to continue to run vBulletin.
Owned License - $160
An owned license grants you the right to run on one web server and one web site for each license purchased for an unlimited time. Each license may power one instance of vBulletin on one domain. Included in this package is one year's access to the member area, where you can download updated versions of the software. If you require access to the member area after the year has elapsed, you can renew your access for $30 per year.
If you Pro-rate the $160.00 license from VBulletin it's only worth $93.00 for 7 months. If you Pro-rate the one year license it's only worth $49.50 for 7 months.
I'm not seeing the advantage here.....

Hi Watcher...yes you are missing something. Basically he has an owned VB license for sale, not just a 1 year license. The owned VB license comes with 1 year of updates through the member center --not to be confused with 1 year of license usage. So he is selling the 'owned license with 7 months left of updates' for $105. You can add an additional year of updates to your owned license for $30. If you do the math, $105 + $30 = 19 months of updates for only $135. As opposed to the original $160 for 1 year of updates.
Remember, this has nothing to do with the 1 year "usage" license for $85. Just wanted to clear it up :) Take care!
Kai
Watcher_TVI
Have you ever heard of overselling Vbulletin?
:D
Southernman 02-02-2003, 02:24 PM An Owned license means you NEVER have to pay the 160.00 again, just the 30.00 annual fee to receive updates.
It says it in what you quoted from vbulletin.com's website, doesn't it???? :stickout: ;)
Mark_TVI 02-02-2003, 03:06 PM Well Shoney the license that is offered for sale here has an expiration date so I am assuming that it is not an owned license as the owned licenses don't expire. This would mean that it is a leased license for sale with a 7 month shelf life and it's being offered for more then what you could go get a full 12 month license for at VBulletin.
Like I said, I don't see the value in the offer....
Watche_TVI - actually, Owned licenses do have expiration dates, but that's the date that you don't get updates of vBulletin anymore ;)
Mark_TVI 02-02-2003, 03:25 PM So it's just the members area access that expires in 7 months.
I got it......
No lol, you get to access the member's area, you're just not offered updates for vB
Southernman 02-02-2003, 03:35 PM Watcher_TVI -- Please step away from your keyboard... quit glaring at your screen. If you do not do so within the next 30 seconds, this message will self-destruct -- which can cause irrepairable damage to your mind. :D LOL
Mark_TVI 02-02-2003, 03:43 PM I can't it's my livlihood...;)
From VB;
If you require access to the member area after the year has elapsed, you can renew your access for $30 per year.
So you are saying it's NOT the members area that expires?
So Mythrill, how much is the "transfer" fee is it the paypals normal 2.9% plus 30 cents?
Mythril 02-03-2003, 12:19 AM hi again, sorry I haven't responded. I will check into the transfer fee, but I think that is correct. Anyways if anybody else wants a vb license, please contact me through my sig. Thanks

is0lized I am adding on a transfer fee so I do get something of what this license is worth of. I am actually selling it under it's price worth. Also if you could please stop acting like a child and act a little more mature. I have posted ways you can contact me, if you want to be childish and post negitave comments, than I will report you to the mods. Thanks
petertdavis 02-03-2003, 12:38 AM Mythril, sounds like this is0lized kid is way too much trouble to deal with. You're asking for trouble dealing with people like that.
Mythril 02-03-2003, 02:59 AM petertdavis you are right about that, and I have no intention of doing business with him :) If anyone is still intrested in purchasing this great license, let me know. Thanks
> I have posted ways you can contact me
I have sent you PM's yet you don't respond. I should of took the first deal that went sour as a clue not to do business with you. The fact that i need a licnese soon has impaired my judgement.
Also the fact that you would not write up a small note that i wanted when were planning to do business to prove you were selling it to me so you could of not scamed me is another clue.
Over the many years i learned that everything happens for a reason and i'm glad i was to never do business with you. All i have to do is wait and good things will happen.
Now that i have added more income to my budget i am willing to spend more money then i did before, which opens my options more.
Mythril 02-03-2003, 11:39 PM is0lized I didn't ask you to do any business and hope I never do any with you. Thanks
