At the moment I am reviewing tow Win2000 hosting comapnies. Does any of you have any experience with them.

My number 1 at the moment would be Crystaltech (www.crystaltech.com) next AWWM (www.awwm.com).

I asked some questions to both, I got an answer from crystaltech within a few hours and am still waiting for the answers from AWWM (for 3 days already) which worries me. I event send a reminder mail, hum I guess I should forget about them, right?

I hosted with CrystalTech about a year ago as a reseller, and they were always outstanding in regards to handling requests and trouble reports.

Their prices were very good for NT based hosting, but lacked a few features at the time that would have made my reselling business a little easier to run.

I must point out though that since I left them, they have added to their available features by quite a bit, and incorporated a resellers plan that that was not in existance when I hosted with them.

I was always extremely happy with them, and my reason for leaving was merely due to outgrowing the features they had at the time.

I have been considering going with them again recently, and have a few questions that I will need to send them first.

My recommendation is that CrytstalTech is very much worthy to host with.

I agree with Thomas, Crystal tech are very good when it comes to support, and their prices.. well.. very cometetive ;)

As a former CrystalTech customer, I'd have to give them a negative recommendation.

In the middle of the night, one of their techs decided that he didn't like one of the pages on my site. It was not pornographic, and it was not illegal. It was a satire page.

With no advance warning and in violation of their service agreement, the tech locked me out of my account and refused to give me access to my intellectual property. After all reasonable attempts to retrieve my files failed, I contacted an attorney. A representative of Crystal Tech told my attorney that my files had been deleted.

Draw your own conclusions, but I can't recommend them.

Negative, definately I asked a simple question about SQL Server to one of their "Tech Support" guys and they caught an attitude with me like you wouldn't believe. I would NEVER host with them again.
