Questin has anyone any info on Simplenet Hosting or Jatol ? looking for low cost hosting for a very small retail site. Any help would be great. Also info on paypal. Thinking about using paypal for CC Purchases on my site. Thanks :confused:

Haven't used the two hosts you've mentioned, but for cc purchases I would also recommend looking at other cc processors as a back up. You could get a 3rd Party Processor where all the transactions are done off your servers. These include:

2checkout.com
paysystems.com
ccbill.com
ibill.com


You could also get your own merchant account. This will allow you to use many Shopping Cart systems and integrate the payment and shopping experience with ease.

Do a search on the forums (and elsewhere) for credit card processing and you should come up with some helpful results.

Just wanted to say, here at Jatol we use 2Checkout, and have even been able to integrate it with our in-house billing script pretty easily. I have heard of some having some trouble here and there with them, but we have not. Always quick and responsive to any support issues, reasonable rates....overall we have been satisfied with their service.
