I've seen some familiar names here (eva2000 - your sig is so short here :D) - I seem to be following some of you around from forum to forum :).
Here's my deal - I've asked on other forums to no avail if anyone could provide me with a link to a site that is hosted on a Site5.com dedicated server. Especially one that is running a medium/large vBulletin. I'm beginning to think that Matt's just trying to confuse us all by selling dedicated servers - but he doesn't actually have any customers ;).
If a link could be posted here (or PM'd or emailed) along with the server specs that the site is running on, I'd appreciate it :).
Many thanks!

I think Annette of HostMatters.com has at least a box with Site5, she might have some sites running on it that you could test. You might want to drop her a message; she'd probably post a reply here soon anyways. :)

I currently have a dedicate server (actually colocation) with site5, which is in the Nac.net server room.
I can tell you that I've had nothing but excellent support from site5 the whole way through getting my machine online. Vince & Matt have always promptly anwsered all of my questions and addressed the issues quickly. Not to meantion they are friendly, which makes it a pleasure to do business with.
The server room is also very fast, you can access my machine by visiting my site (in my signature). It is a Dell PowerApp with 1 GB RAM, 2 scsi160 10,000 rpm drives and dual 866mhz processors.
Hope that helps. they also have a page up now on the site5.com site with the colocation pricing, they gave us a really good deal!

I haven't tried it with win2k at all. Although I'm sure it would run fine *cough* as well as can be expected with windows.

Jim, Host Coalition (at http://www.hostcoalition.org) is on a box at NAC/Site5, and consists solely of a vB forum. However, most of the postings are in the host-only areas, so I'm afraid that might not be much use to you if you were intending to blast through seeing how things load. The site http://www.technogirl.net is also over there, and utilizes a phpNuke front end, so that might give you a bit of insight as to how quickly things can move when they're calling to a database for content.

Nothing major: PIII 800/512M. But we like to keep server loads incredibly low. Something I learned in the corporate world trying to keep IIS/SQL farms running optimally.
