Sounds too good to be true, to me.

2GB "free" xfer, but what happens when you go over?

They're pricing is confusing also: They talk about the first 12 months free with no monthly fees, then you go down to their pricing and it says $96 annually, $10 monthly fee. It could be taken that you pay the $96 annual fee, plus $10 each month (total $216/year). If that's the case, why not just say it? If it's not, they should change the
"Regularly only $96 annually, if you sign up now, you get your first 12 MONTHS COMPLETELY FREE OF MONTHLY CHARGES!!!!!"
to say 'completely free of any charges.'

They need to be a little more clear in their statements... but that's just my opinion!

tk,

Regarding the 2GB limit,
"Up to 2GB of bandwidth is free per month (this is data transferred from your site), beyond this the cost is $6 per GB. You will receive notification if you have gone over the 2GB limit."

I need a website for personal/family use. I don't think I'll ever come close to the 2GB, but if I happen to go over, $5 a GB seems to be standard so $6 isn't outrageous.

Regarding the fees,
On the signup page it states:
"After the initial 12 months free, do you want to pay annually or monthly?
Annually it costs $96, monthly it costs $10 per month - this is not billed until after your 12 free months. "

I've seen other sites offering $99 a year with similar features, so $96 doesn't seem that bad. Especially since the first year will only cost $30.

Has anyone had an actual experience with these guys?

Thanks again

Slimjim,
Yes, $6/GB is pretty good.

I was just pointing out that their site leaves a little to be desired when it comes to clarity. In some hosting companies cases, this means they are not very reputable. I am not stating that that is the case with this one, only trying to point it out so people can be aware of it and make their own conclusions.

Thanks for the info!
