Do most of you lock your domains? Is this supposed to protect you from hijacking? I just acquired several domains I want to market and I noticed they are locked. I'm wondering if I should leave them as is or unlock them since all I want to do is sell them. Your feedback is appreciated!

I lock ALL my domains, and recommend you do the same unless you are about to transfer them.
Domain locking will basically deny any transfer request, regardless of who approves the request.
You can NOT transfer a domain if it is locked. You must first unlock it.
So locking is kind of like "protecting" the domain, etc..
Hope that helps.

That does help thanks! One question once I sell a domain all I need to do is unlock and transfer it? I've heard people having problems transferring a domain because they couldn't unlock it. I would think that would kill a sale.

Correct. When you unlock the domain, then you are able to transfer it. You should unlock BEFORE initiating the transfer.
If you try to transfer the domain without unlocking it first, then the transfer will fail.
