I have been with liquidweb for about 3 months now. Every week, (usually on the weekend, since nobody is there to fix it) it has gone down for some considerable time.

My site has been down since Friday afternoon, and I guess with no weekend support it will be down until Monday. Last weekend the server my site is on ran out of disk space. I didn't run out of space with my plan, the server actually ran out space!!!! I called on Monday... since no support on the weekends, and wanted to know how big a file I wanted to upload, that he just cleared up some space while I was on the phone. What kind of web hosting is this????? I have a 500MB limit with my plan, and have 350MB free space, and can't even use it.

I can't believe these guys are still in business.

Their website still says they have 7x24 support. I've never had support on a weekend. My next host will get tested with support questions on nights and weekends before I move my sites and commit the time and energy I committed in the move to Liquidweb.

Frustrating indeed.

So what's the final word from Liquidweb about what the problem was?

I don't think they will ever have an answer. My site finally came back up sometime Saturday afternoon. Now today the cpanel will not work, saying license expired or something.

I've had experience with LiquidWeb in the past (a year and a half ago about) and I would also add that I didn't find their support and features very pleasing. I wasn't the actual owner of the account but I did use it quite a lot, though.
