Is it possible for, say, the addresses pmak@anifics.com and sunlord@anifics.com to be hosted on different machines (for real, not by using forwards)? Or can only one machine be set to receive e-mail of a domain?

I do not think what you ask is precisely possible, however there are two alternatives that I know of, maybe one will be suitbale for you: Each of the two machines has its own hostname, so you can do: pmak@host1.anifics.com and sunlord@host2.anifics.com. Alternatively, you could set up a forwarding service at anifics.com and forward one of the email addresses to another host. __________________ Your message here. Seen by thousands each day! Round robin DNS to multiple Mail Servers. Then have all mail servers share a common userlist/database. And also, NFS the main HD space to all mail servers. |
