Ok, I finally stopped getting gateway errors coming here.

Global Compass (NOT WebAuthorities...we are just a host there) seems to be back up. My servers are there, but a little slow.

According to one of my clients this is a known problem since June or July of LAST year and that patches have been out since then.

If you want to blame someone blame the people who didn't patch their servers like they should :D

Our machines in Global are still up and I can still reach GC's main site myself.

3 machines are completely dead here, still.

is mchost.com hosted there? i can't reach that domain right now.

hmmm..... my multihomed machines and even my single homed machines are all up... maybe they are trying to patch some win2k machines that had to be pulled last night.

As another note, the servers can be reachable and your provider could be getting hit.

I know that for a while I could get to my servers, but not to WHT, but other people were getting here just fine. This means that my provider was to blame (well the backbones they are using) and not WHT (IE Rackshack).

The sure fire way to find out where the problem is is to do a tracert.
