I have no money and site building experience. I've been thinking about getting a free site with my own domain name. Which hosting company is best for a free site? What about Yahoo, Hypermart and Bizland? What is a good plan for an average start up site that is not expecting too much traffic, a few hits a day? The site will basically be used to introduce our services (children's educational programs). I want to build a bigger site when I can afford it. Help.

You might want to check over at http://www.freewebspace.net for more free hosts. Yahoo (when it was Geocities) offered a tool to help you build your site. I'm not sure if they still do this (or what tools the others might offer).

You could try making a search for webdesigners on any major search engine. There are many out there that are looking to make sites for free just to have more sites to add to their portfolios. They will have the information you seek (best place to get hosted, domain name options, etc.).
If you rather do it yourself, visit http://www.sitepoint.com for some help on building your online presence... lots of resources there.
