hi,

i've installed the Webalizer Release 2.01.10-1 from pkgmaster through the web interface for my raq 4 (@tera-byte)

now i don't know how to access the weblogs of setup config files. i've checked www.mydomain.com/stats which i need to input my username and password (is there a way to change or add username/passwords or disable this feature).. currently the stats directory is empty

also, where are config files so i can custumize my stats page? please be in mind i'm totally unfamilar with unix/telnet ect..... thanks alot

right now i'm more concerned about getting this thing to work and am holding off on the other questions above...

to install Webalizer Release 2.01, i've had to install gd-2.0.11, now gd-2.0.11 won't run because it tells me that i have to install libpng.. i've downloaded it at http://www.libpng.org/pub/png/ but am very unclear as to how to install it...

any info? thanks alot

Just look at the libpng instructions in this list here:

Stats are generated once a day, so they will show up once everything is working fine. By default site admins can login to the stats pages.
You can remove the .htaccess file, but to keep it out, or put a custom one up, you'll need to hack the webalizer.pl files. If you remove the .htaccess completely, then anybody can view your stats pages...

thanks for the reply, but these instructions are for PHP 4.3.0... i'm only interested libpng (i didnt see specific instructions for libpng)

I didnt say you should follow all the instructions there.
