dreamrae.com 01-24-2003, 10:38 PM lol there is no best, y not learn it yourself, then u can charge people like your current self for $$$ :D
IGobyTerry 01-25-2003, 06:53 PM I know you wanted a person who has had experience with the person, however due to the lack of reply's I'll post my suggestion on who's work I have seen. I know Tetraboy is a pretty good Programmer, and I remember seeing a thread by someone else suggesting him as a good PHP Programmer.
That's just someone who may wish to consider. But I don't have any experience with him. Maybe could you post something in the advertising forum, and ask for some examples of their work to see if they're good?
BMHost_com 01-26-2003, 11:57 AM Although, there may be many people, php scripting language guru here; we host phptalk.com and there are some guys there who are very professional in php.
Sorry, it seems as advert here, i know; personally i am one of he moderator there but they may help you; if you are serious you ca visit the forum or i can talk with some guys from there.
God luck in advance.

iamdave 01-26-2003, 05:59 PM You can try one of those freelance sites.
rigor 01-26-2003, 06:04 PM Xelphyr on aim is top notch. He worked for sourceforge, his prices ARE NOT cheap, he is a good friend, and works freelance now. If you want serious , quality, and did i already mention not cheap work, i'd highly recommend him. He is very proficient at sql as well.
I can personally vouch for his quality. Excellent work, fair price, timeliness. professional attitude.
PierreB 01-26-2003, 11:35 PM I can recommend the programmer of the www.devfactor.com team, tell them I send you :)

vSector 01-27-2003, 06:09 AM Well, I would class myself as one of the best php programmers here. I have been coding for 7 years, languages include php, mysql, asp, sql, cgi, C++, yada, yada. Also had 1 year professional experience in Europe.
Site I have developed - hostapproval.com (PPC directory with admin areas), 4dwebhosting.com (includes a complete control panel, like cpanel), click4click.com (banner exchange).
What else can I say - I am elite... :D

Samuel 01-27-2003, 06:55 AM My recommendation is for a programmer that is so busy....
how busy is he!
He is sooooo busy, he looks forward to the network being down =)
jtrovato 01-27-2003, 09:46 PM I have read alot of your postings and saw some damn good progarmmers within this forum. I feel I can handle almost anything that comes my way. But there will always be someone better out there. If it is something fairly simple to code you can get anybody to write it for you.
7 years is not a long time for a programmer. I have been programming for almost 20 years and I know there is so much more I can learn.
Good luck buddy

lol... you say 7 years I not a long time... well i say 20 years is too long..
PHP/MySQL is very simply and should really only take about 6 months to master, expecially if you have previous languages under your belt. I would class it as one of the simpliest languages available today.

TheMMIz 01-29-2003, 08:49 PM I once was a young lad looking for programming. Here is what I found:
Second Runner Up: ScriptLance.com
First Runner up: RentACoder.com - The people Ill be using
and the winner: Kunal - God I would love to use him, but I cant afford it. Too bad.
Kunal, a mod on these forums, is also a amazing programmer from what I hear.
Good luck!
