General questions, are these guys any good?

They have cogant bandwidth, is it still worth going with them, considering I wouldn't be hosting games but only web sites?

Regards

Steve

I have four servers with them now.
I am extremely happy with the support as well as the performance. Everyone likes to bash Cogent, but in many markets it is a great solution. You may not see 40ms pings coast-to-coast, but you also won't see invoices for $300 per Mbps :)
ServerWave excels in the area of support. While I am very self-sufficent, they always answer PMs and e-mails right away - even on Thanksgiving day!
I will continue to add servers to the four I have with them as my business grows.
Feel free to PM me with any specific questions.

We do have a close relationship with them and do have a list of servers under their control. Not a single other company has astonished me with such an approach like ServerWave. These guys really know how to do business, they know what's important, and they care about their customers.
I wouldn't doubt for a single moment to put more business on their server, and I'm saying this after having had lots of experiences with many many other dedicated providers, and we're talking about 30+ servers here.

Regards,
Carl

I just read a thread in another forum saying that ServerWave is actually run by the same (or one of the guys) from RackSpace. This is good to hear, considering the constant praise that RackSpace gets!

Here's the article (http://thewhir.com/marketwatch/ser011403.cfm), if you're interested.

Having said that though, I don't know why serverwave.com's WHOIS info. has Verio contacts, and uses Verio name servers. A bit odd ...

Hmm, the links seems to be down. But that's interesting since we have no relation to Rackspace. I'd like to read it when the server gets backup. Is the link typed in correctly?

Ah, there it comes... That's Server Beach, totally different company...

Don't feel bad though, you're not the first person to confuse us with them. =)

Doh! Sorry about that. :) I need to start paying more attention when I'm posting late at night!
