I thought it would be wise to learn about scripts before I started reselling web hosting. So Where is a good site that would tell me what scripts does what and how to install them?

Or maybe each person could list a type of script and educate me on it..

Any info would be helpfull

Thanks

Hi xwebdesigner,

The most reliable source for information and documentation of scripts, is from the website that you download the scripts from.

What scripts were you looking for in particular ?

I like http://www.hotscripts.com

These script collection sites don't tell you much about learning to create scripts though. A site like http://www.webmonkey.com is better for that.

If you want to shell out some money and buy some books, my favorite beginner's JavaScript book is The Book of JavaScript : A Practical Guide to Interactive Web Pages from no starch press (http://www.nostarch.com). My favorites for PHP and Perl are the Teach yourself ... in 24 Hours series from Sams.
