Heres the deal
1) Get a domain (we will get it for free if need be) or we tranfer a already established one to my server.
2) Create content for your site. Once your site has sufficant content we will get paid advertising for your site
3) Once your site reaches our revenue needs (which includeds site space and bandwidth plus my patrners share) you get a revenue kickback.
Depending on the amount of work you do could provide for a very substantial revenue or very little or none at all. Content is king so you will be working towards this in mind. But we will help to take some of the advertising and hosting hassle out of your hands and you get to work with a company that will allow you expand your internet site as it grows with no restrictions.
so if your interested contact me at tykota@bwkip.com and let me know what your interested in doing, domain name, ect ect.
Generally you should have knowledge of html and such and a firm subject you will stick too. A established/new site does help in getting accepted but it isnt required. This aint no geocities so please keep that in mind. lol. but it is for knowledgable people looking for or trying to achieve a internet presense. Again knowledge and content is priority.
Thats it.
cya people
maybe ill hear from some of ya out there in cyberspace

let me clarify something before i get flamed
yes there is certain restrictions. mainly bandwidth. for example a gaming site with massive downloads. in the future yes cause i am looking into and have established the beginning of getting wholesale bandwidth.
also this server is a server im renting to use for my needs. the hosting was a defiante plan cause i plan on having free hosting through my main site which is a fps gaming site.
the hosting is just a additonal revenue stream for me. i have two other people that are setting up accounts and such for me. who are experienced at this.
so ill be totally upfront
the webserver is a linux os and apache server.
Also i have people working with me that are "earning" their sites doing certain things for me regarding my domain. with this there wont be no paid advertising on your site. this is all relative though and it depends on quite a few factors. mainly for example if your site grows to be to big a expense than ya simply pay for it beyond the work you do for me. or work it off some more.
well thats it. i think last count i had 8 domains on my server.
okay cya again i gotta get to my day job. lol

Let me get this clear:
So, before they are popular, and the cost is $20 per month, you lose $20 per account per month.
If they have enough contents and visitors, you put paid banners on their sites.
- If the cost of hosting the site is $100 and advertising generates $50, that doesn't cover the cost, and you loose $50 evrey month and the user get nothing.
- If revenue > cost, let's say $200 and $100. and you keep $30 as your profit. You get $30 and user get $70. right?
I am sure you will ask the end user to sign an contract. herwise, they can just leave you after they are popular and keep the $30 they will pay you.
Might be a good idea for people who want to make money, but don't have the initial investment. But I will just stick to my shared account for fun only.
Peace.

im losing space at first. maybe a 9.00 domain.
itll be doing something similar to what your saying with the 30/70 split. if it loses money it loses money.
generally though it wont. if i pay goto.com 25 to advertise the site. that brings in 2500 visitors. with advertising/banner rates ect,,,,this will net a minimum of 70 clear after paying the 25. this is if the visitor only goes to the first page. if they browse the site more revenue is generated.
ever go to sitepoint.com. get there ebook? good book.
reason i am doing this is once i see a content site has alot of good content i was planning on using paid advertising anyway. even though the site was free.
there was no kickback. i have 8 sites that recieve nothing.
so i thought to myself "whats to keep em from leaving once they get popular". so thats why im offering.
look at this way. its free and hopefully youll get paid. Ive contacted various "gaming" sites that i was interested in running and found out they pay their people supplying all their content nothing. i was willing to work hard at it too. nope they said.
some gaming sites are going under or have. they paid their hosted sites but a percentage. thats why i say over what the site and costs ect bring in.
im not just running gaming sites. im gonna advertise em and people will hopefully get paid.
to me thats more than any free hosted site is willing to offer.
not only this. if you have a particular product to sell you can. like a software program. but only one and you gotta supply the ecommerce package.
so look at this way. do you want a free site? theres nothing to lose except maybe a site transfer to a paid host if i go under. but there is a potential to gain.
dont know guys im gonna give it a shot is all.
well i got accounts to set up.
take er easy
