Ok but do you mind telling us why you are asking a lot of money for IP adresses that are free to get ???

For me that was the reason for not choosing you as a host for example :-(

I'm glad to hear that you considered Site5.com for your dedicated hosting needs!

With regards to your question, IP addresses are not necessarily free. There is a yearly fee for IP addresses, which most providers choose to pass on to their clients. We have found that $5/10 IP's ($0.50/IP) is pretty close to industry standard, if not, below (for example, RackSpace charges $2.00/month per IP).

Because a) IP addresses are not free and b) they aren't charging that much for them, really. I've seen them as low as nothing ("as many IPs as you want, for nothing", but their base price makes up for it) to $5 each (at a bargain basement place that I won't name and would never use). Most places charge between 0.25 and 1.00 each. 0.50 is pretty reasonable.

Just a suggestion but you might want to have some sort of javascript calculator so people can "build" their own setup or add onto a server.. This just seems the next logical step :)

I know what you mean; those server customization systems are great fun. ;)

We have a completely new site and service line planned for launch late August. With the launch of our new product lines, we will include a dedicated server instant quote system for customers whose needs do not match one of our current plans.

In the meantime, anyone seeking a special setup on a dedicate server is free to email us for a custom quote.
