Hi there,

I'm the webmaster for the e-commerce site of a medium sized alternitive chemist.

We are UK based and sell our own products.

Now so far we are doing quite well selling via our .co.uk domain. The domain is very good and unfortunatly the .com is unavailable. We currently sell almost all our products to UK customers despite having the ability to order in £,$ and Euros with our worldpay account.

We also have a .com domain which isn't as good as our .co.uk.

What are peoples views on this, if your from outside the UK would a .co.uk domain put you off?

Input appriciated, thanks.

Edited to say the .co.uk is xxx.co.uk and the .com is houseofxxx.com (House of xxx is the name of the company) where xxx is a common Indian name.

IMO, If I'm shopping around and stumble on a co.uk, I'll probably walk away because I don't want to bother with exchange rates and shipping from across the pond...depending of course on the product/service.
