I am newbie to all this dedicated hosting etc.

Rackspace don't show off much about their prices but they are relatively low (£2.80 per GB bandwith per month) especially for Docklands, London.

When I asked about their server perfomance, they said:

"We are confident that each server can push an absolute minimum of 4
Megabits per second (they are all on 100 Mbit NICs and switches)"

Im not sure how good this is. How does this compare, is 4 Megabits per second good perfomance?
