I have finally decided to go with ezmerchantaccounts.com for my merchant account needs. I have emailed and talked with them on the phone extensively. I will keep you posted as I go. For those interested, they use Authorize.net or Signio as their payment gateway. I am going with Authorize.net. The fees for Authorize.net are as follows:
Setup for Virtual Terminal and Real time Transactions: $195 (one time fee)
Monthly Fees:
Gateway fee: $15
Statement fee: $10
Tansaction costs:
2.25% and $.25 per transaction ($10 monthly minimum)
Chargeback fee is $15

ezmerchantaccounts.com is who I am going with. They are a Merchant Service Provider that is a reseller for Authorize.net and Signio. I chose the Authorize.net option.
Have you taken a look at echo-inc.com?

Yea, I looked at them. I just didn't want to go through the labor to make it work. Just lazy I guess.

Did you talk them down in the price? If I remember correctly the startup fee was $295.

Nope, $195 is their current standard for an account that uses Authorize.net as the gateway. You may be thinking of the prices that they offer for accounts that use Signio as the gateway. See this page for details:

marty, what will your total costs per month be?
Marty

Total cost per month is:
gateway fee + statement fee + transaction and discount fees ($10 minimum here)
So the minimum per month is $35. If combined transaction and discount fees are higher than $10 then I just pay the actual discount and transaction fees, if they are lower than $10, I just pay $10.

OK thanks for clearing that up. On their other pages they say $295.
So this comes without being able to accept online checks?
