I have heard that zoneedit is more reliable. Its been a long time since I have used mydomain, but haven't had any issues with zoneedit.com myself.

I have used mydomain.com for 2 years, I am satisfied with their services. They're rarely down.

What are you using it for?

MyDomain was down for a couple of days a while back.

I wouldn't use it for anything other than a personal site. You'd have a hard time justifying a site being down because you're too cheap to pay for DNS servers.
