How much for 2 gig ram one time? This is DDR right? What type (ie, pc2100 etc) Cache on the chips would be 512 kb right?

You must be thinking of the p3. All Athlon XP and MP cpus have 384k cache (128 L1 + 256 L2).

There should be some new AMD XP cpus coming out soon with 512k cache--the "Barton" core. Those are supposed to be an intermediate step between the XP and the Athlon 64.

Ah, thanks for clearing that up. Well, 384 kb is better than 256k atleast .. :)

I've heard some good things about the AMD MP's but I've yet to find a good price on them ... this one sounds good (a lot cheaper than Burst quoted me directly)
