In past few years, Web Hosting business got very busier than ever, than before in the world history, doesn't it?

Let's see what happened to these web hosting compaines?

1) BurstNET is moving to thier own NOC in thier office in PA from VDI

2) Jumpline is moving thier servers in Ohio out from Alabanza for thier growth into new Dedicated Servers business.

3) Site5 used be at VDI but moved to Nac.net for growth of web hosting business.

4) ***** used rent machines at OLM then moved to thier own NOC in Texas.

Anyone know more, post them here, I want see who had success in hosting business.

It is very hard to start this hosting business from stratch, doesn it? :)

I hear Alabanza will shortly be moving its entire operation to Afghanistan.

It is said that they were attracted by the possibility of improving connectivity, as well as all the skilled staff available in Kabul.

Yup, and according to a news article on their site they're developing an inhouse webhosting admin system to rival Alabanza, if not beat it... I guess using them for so long taught them a trick or two. Now they're primed to beat them at their own game.

As I always say.. we live in interesting times :D

How did you manage to move the site and it's huge database without so much as a twitch or lost post? I figured that it would have to have been shut down for at least a little while.

WHT was down for approximately 30 mins on Thursday night/Fri morning US time to facilitate the move. :)

I just know since the downtimes few days ago (is it due to the move?) I didn't receive any more e-mail alerts for the thread updates.

I noticed also - around 6:30 Friday morning trying to access WHT and a little box says something about out to lunch - "will be back in one hour".

What do I win? :)
