I had Windows 95 but I upgraded to Windows 98 (I installed 98 over 95). I now want to revert back to Windows95 without losing files or taking up MORE disk space. I just installed 98 over 95. The computer came with 95 and I do still have the restore disk. Thank you.

With the upgrade version of Wndows 98, which you obviously used (the OEM version won't work if an OS is detected), there is an option by default to save the earlier files and allow you to revert to them. Unless you chose not to accept that option, all you have to do is uninstall Windows 98.

You'll have to check the instructions on how to do it. It's been a while since I have and don't remember quite how.

I think you remove it just as you uninstall many programs. From the Control Panel, select Add/Remove programs. I think you'll find it in there.
