Some text is unreadable, its to light

im afraid i have to agree with you, its far too light. As well as unreadable, it is very glary on the eyes.

light blue on a white background im afraid doesnt work. for a really nice template check out my website. i am proud to say i based it on a phpbb theme. only problem is the logos i am using but i hope to sort that out very soon.

and 30$? theres someone else in these forums selling his for 20$. well im not a buyer anyway so no point me saying any more.

Well yea, one is cheaper but sometimes price depends on the quality of the work and alot of people do not want to overprice or sell themselves short.

my point-good question. basically i do like the template but would as a comment (im not buying) say that clear text is important. light colours on a white background are a real turn off for me. dont get me wrong, it is a good template and there definatey will be a customer out there for it but im afraid if i had the money it wont be me.

still. zinedesigns, dont worry about what i said, text colour is probably the last thing people look at in a template. other than that it is a good template.

i like the 20$ template though somewhere in these forums only because it was clear. a little darker text and this template would beat them. well its late over in london s this probably doesnt make to much sense, so bye all - im outta here

davemarc- are u saying everyone should be selling their designs for 20$ ? Im afraid 20$ or even 30$ is VERY and i mean VERY low of designs. At WHT its very hard to get anything over 50$.

Many designers refuse to sell themselves short at WHT, which is why i only list templates at WHT that are not my best work. Templates are, and can be sold for over 200$ so i dont see why you complaining about a 30$ template. And i might add you check out the designs at www.somethingleet.com, you will find the real prices if designing their if you check out the job listing section :)

Oh yes, i visited your site, and i saw many flaws with it as well. A backround should not be used if tryint to achieve a proffesional/clean look. It just bothers ur eyes. A transparent foreground just doesnt work either. And you may want to check out some of the comments i got on this design.http://www.somethingleet.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=16176

And if you are hesitant about the quality standards at WHT, take a look at the showcase forum. :) Oh and yes, if you would like to see some of my "good work" you can request that as well.

My last comment.. DaveMarc, it would be kind of wise if someone (everybody) didn't judge the template by text. Its a template, you should be able to change anything you want.

And a template won't beat another template just because of its text. Keep an open mind and visualize it with a darker text then make a comment :)
