Hi,

I am owner of the domain name http://www.bunkerwars.net. We are a non-profit game at the moment, attracting several hundred thousand banner impressions per day. We are in search of a new host. We offer our hosting company banner placement on every page in the game (468x60 in a viewable without scrolling place) along with a statement saying that we are very satisfied with our host etc.

We are looking for a company somewhere to host us, free if possible. In return we will give you 100% of the banner impressions, the statement, and in the near future we will possibly turn 'profit' and be able to pay. The players our game is geared twords, are very internet firmiliar people, that are very into the web design scene. The players are of target range, ages 13-21 mainly, and are very willing to pay for web hosting and other services.

Our needs:
-ASP, preferably on a windows machine
-MySQL databases

In the past we have drawn lots of business to our hosts because we have reccomended them.

Please reply here or send an email to aaron985@frontiernet.net with any offers/comments.

Thanks for your time,
Aaron Caryl
(Creator/Owner BunkerWars Inc.)

Aaron,

As web hosts are not allowed to advertise in the 'Web Hosting Forum', it might be a better idea to post this in the 'Web Hosting Request' forum in the advertising section. You should get quotes there.

But incidentally, instead of getting free hosting since ultimately your site is rather popular with the several hundred thousands banner views, you might want to go with paid hosting and perhaps charge for banners on your site instead of giving them free and requesting for free hosting. This way, you probably can make a tidy sum of income to cover all your cost and maybe an annual vacation or a good birthday present.

If you are doing 100,000 banners a day for 30 days, you are getting something like 3,000,000 banners view a month. And at say 5c per CPM, that would yield $150/mth on banner income alone. I am sure that you would get higher than 5c per CPM but that is probably putting it at a very low end. That should cover the hosting charges and a little extra for you to keep for your effort.

You could write to the game developer or distributor to see if they are interested in advertising on your site. Give them your viewership demographics and your traffic stats, I am sure they would be impressed.

You have better chance at getting better deals if you approach the right advertisers for your audience.
