Hi,
Ive just had a new Toshiba E740 PDA, the bluetooth version,
I can manage to receive emails on the PDA by syncing it with Outlook on my desktop, but when I receive emails directly on the PDA by using my mobile phone, I cant seem to get those messages onto Outlook for referencing,
does anyone have any ideas how I might be able to do this please?
Id greatly appreciate any response
Thanks for any help :)

I would need a bit more info. It could be many problems. Are you sucessfully connecting to the internet via your mobile phone?? e.g are you able to browse using Pocket IE?? A good way to test would be to setup your device in the cradle as the cradle acts as a pass through to your computer so it would use your computers internet connection. Once you get it working locally through the cradle start messing with the phone again.
EDIT: Misread your post. Play around with the options in activesync. You can access them by going to tools then clicking on inbox.

You would need to change the setting for syncing email. You probably have it set to "sync desktop w/ pda" and it should be "sync desktop and pda" or something simliar to that.

ok, thanks, i'll look into it,
does this mean that active sync will sync emails from the desktop to the PDA and vice versa then?
Thanks again

I cant seem to find that option on ActiveSync,
do I need to upgrade to the latest version? (3.6)
Im using 3.5 at the moment and all the options seem to be for syncing the PDA's inbox only,
Thanks again
