I still have a license, which needs a good home!
A young man from here, was trying to negotiate with me to use the license... but the terms were not something he could do. Sorry MidnightPyro... but I need to get rid of the thing. :(
Anyway, the license has members access until November 17, 2003.
I am asking 120.00 as a buyout price. If anyone would like to counter my offer with a reasonable amount, I will take it into consideration and let you know asap whether it's acceptable or not.
Another option for an owner of a fresh website would be to rent the license from me... I know, that sounds like a far-fetched deal, but it is one I would entertain as well.
TIA,
Steve

Something like below:
Rent on a month-to-month basis:
$16.00 initially (basically a first and last months security deposit)
$8.00 per month
Rent-to-Own: 12 month Payout
$30.00 Deposit
$13.95 x 12
Rent-to-Own: 24 month Payout
$20.00 Deposit
$9.95 x 24
I pay vBulletin to renew the members access, at renewal time.
I retain sole access to the members area, until the contract is paid in full.
I don't think I have ever seen this done to date, but there is a first time for everything... :)
I appreciate your curiosity. If anyone has any questions, please let me know.

This could be a problem, if you are not very particular about it and wouldn't mind, giving the complete member access, drop in a mail/PM to me.

Hi IrishFlash,
Your right, I would prefer cash... let me see what transpires over the next few days. It's not looking good for an outright sell right now, the WHT market has been pretty saturated with vB's the last couple of weeks or so.
Braincells,
It should not be a problem, as for recieving updates and such. When an update is released, I would provide the files to you at your request by email (I am at my computer everyday for 8-16 hours).
The reason I choose to retain sole access if for my protection, of course. If I was to give the customer password to a renter, it is feasible this person could have the password changed, effectively locking myself out. At that point, I am basically $$$ew$$
I will send vB support an email and ask them if there is a way to prevent that from happening.
If anyone would like to verify the license, send me a PM.
G'day
Steve
