Apparently, a friend just told me he received an email from his isp (which have Yipes like uplink). They told him that they will get downtime probably near the 16 january during the night. Apparently that maintenance would concern Yipes and william, and would consist of 'configure jumbo frame'.

Anyone have more infos on this, what 'configure jumbo frame' stand for? Better switch or routers? or?

Yipes move alot of their bandwidth off level3 and onto williams?

Nah, from what I understood, they are restructuring their link with williams to get a better route I would say... but still

Yipes and Williams is improving its infrastructure with the following

configuring jumbo frames, this maintenance will cause the peering
session between Yipes and Williams to reset.
