Hi everyone. I have a client that wants to renew an SSL for his domain name (it expires in February), but then wants to add four more (for four divisions of his company) in about 6 months. I have two questions:

1) Is it possible to purchase an SSL for a six-month period anywhere, or is everyone still offering it on a yearly basis?

2) Are there volume discounts/packages available for SSLs (5 or more for X amount of dollars) without having to go the resale route, or even better, can a company buy an SSL certificate for use across any domain name registered to that company? (e.g. is there a product on the market that can be used for a.com and b.com, if both a.com and b.com are registered to the same company?)

There are global certificates available from thawte. One of these will cover all subdomains and a primary domain, ie:

www.domain.com
you.domain.com
sub.domain.com

I saw that, RackNine, and I do appreciate the suggestion; however, it's not quite what I'm looking for. I'm looking for one that would cover www.a.com, www.b.com, www.c.com, etc. (the subdomains aren't all that important to me.)
