Ok here is a newbie question for y'all. I've outgrown my RAQ and have a new dedicated box with WHM & CPanel. Since this is my first use of WHM & CPanel I could use a little help getting going. First, I need to create my two nameservers for the server. I have turned on Bind, have added my IPs using the control panel but now I am a little lost. I read the manual and looked at Ventures Online FAQ and the cloud unfortunately remains. I tried to set add an account (my main account) but the panel gives me this error:

chown: /var/cpanel/users/*: No such file or directory
Missing SCRIPTALIAS Config Line in /etc/wwwacct.conf

There are no other accounts listed in the control panel. I assume to set up my two nameservers I need to add two DNS zone entries (one for each IP). I would appreciate some suggestions as to the settings as there are a few more than I am used to :)

Finally, when I check the service status I get a message that ProFTP has failed. Any ideas or is it time to talk to the folks I got the box from? They are a bit behind in the tech support area at the moment. Thanks for any help!

I would open up a support ticket at their helpdesk.
