I think this is the right catogory to post this in but I am about to sign up for a merchant account through my local bank (Whitney Bank) but they do not provide real-time processing. I do not absolutly need to use them but that is where my other accounts are located. Would someone be able to provide real-time processing for this or does the provider have to provide it? I am looking for the cheapest way to get this done. I need an aurthorize.net gateway.
To summarize:
I do not need a merchant account if I can get it thorugh my bank.
I need real-time processing from some who provides an aurthorize.net terminal.
If it would be cheaper to get it all from one place, I would do that.

I have also looked into using burst.net..Has anyone used them for this? Thanks

Ntt sure about what's the difference between the merchant account and paypal business account.

If you have an paypal business account, you could have people pay you by credit card directly. Not sure whether they need to have an paypal account or not.
