So far the best place I have found is http://www.creditcardprocessor.com -BW Marty 05-06-2001, 08:59 PM BW, Have you used them. If so, what can you tell me about service and support? Marty 05-06-2001, 09:02 PM BW, They don't appear to have what I want. I need to have real time processing with forms hosted on my server!! UNIXIELHOST 05-07-2001, 12:28 AM Charge.com is very good and they beat good rates and very real people. They have nice referral system, $150 PER person. Suppose you referred 10 people, your rich easy :) Marty 05-07-2001, 06:53 AM Joseph, Are you using them at all? I noted that on your hosting page, you are using Revecom. Fred 05-07-2001, 10:29 AM Th website is somewhat misleading. Once you signup with Charge.com they no longer are in the picture, you deal with: - One bank that handles the transactions, Humbolt in CA - the processor, Authorize.net (who charges a gateway fee every month of $15 on top of all other charges) - you pay Leasecomm for Leasing the software It is such a hastle to get a straight answer when there are so many hands in the pot. At a minimum you are paying almost $60 a month, oh, and you must do at least $25 in business or there is a charge for that also. Humbolt is a chargeback monster. We got so many chargebacks that it was killing us. People kept charging back for months of service, but we didnt use signatures, that was our fault. The $150 sign-up referrals, please, how many referrals do you honestly think you can send? Get-Hosted.com 05-21-2001, 11:48 PM So on top of their $15/month gateway fee they make you pay another $15/month gateway fee with authorize.net? |
