3crowd launched http://3crowd.com/products/crowdcache/ yesterday. I would love to see how this goes. I can see interesting uses for this. The ability to spin up instances on vps across the globe and simply slapping their cdn software on top would work very well for some of our sites

Yep, been hearing about that for sometime. They seem to build a java application from ground up for caching if I'm not mistaken.
