of the dedicated providers would you choose for a mission critical? I have seen few posts that say that providers which i use are not suitable for such clients.

I recommend Servint too. Been with for jsut 4 months but top support, i mean truly 5 mins response 24 hours. We have went through our busiest period without a hitch, serving up to 150gb a day at peak with little slow down, even with very busy forum.

Really they do not have the slickest web site, but compared with other hsots we have used they are a dream. :-)

If it is mission critical, I would supposed the best is to host it in your data-center and have not one but a couple of servers to enable load balancing and redundancy.

If failing which, rackspace would fill the gap nicely at a lower price for mission critical servers.

Rackspace, but they tend to have the prices of 1999.

I have servers at Datapipe and Dialtone.
Both have been good for me.

Datapipe have more server options and also two levels of server management.

what is the uptime of dailtone network ?

are they ever down ?
