Aushosts 01-11-2003, 08:21 AM Try www.rackspace.com Angel78 01-11-2003, 01:04 PM any provdier beside rackspace.com or they are only one? Soulfish 01-11-2003, 03:58 PM www.servint.com are also good BiGWill 01-11-2003, 04:37 PM yep, i can second that ... servint is really superb, network wise and support wise! :) been nothing but a happy costumer for 4months now! Angel78 01-13-2003, 06:03 AM ok tnx :) now i have 1 option beside rackspace.com :) diederik 01-13-2003, 06:24 AM ThePlanet.com if you need an unmanaged server. Angel78 01-13-2003, 09:57 AM theplanet look fine but have sort of strange pricing per IP (3$) the rest looks veryyyy veryyyyy nice :) Fatty 01-13-2003, 02:21 PM I recommend Servint too. Been with for jsut 4 months but top support, i mean truly 5 mins response 24 hours. We have went through our busiest period without a hitch, serving up to 150gb a day at peak with little slow down, even with very busy forum. Really they do not have the slickest web site, but compared with other hsots we have used they are a dream. :-) Angel78 01-13-2003, 04:16 PM 150 gb / day ? wow :) eddy2099 01-13-2003, 04:37 PM If it is mission critical, I would supposed the best is to host it in your data-center and have not one but a couple of servers to enable load balancing and redundancy. If failing which, rackspace would fill the gap nicely at a lower price for mission critical servers. Fiber 01-13-2003, 08:15 PM Rackspace, but they tend to have the prices of 1999. paulj 01-13-2003, 08:20 PM I have servers at Datapipe and Dialtone. Both have been good for me. Datapipe have more server options and also two levels of server management. mahinder 01-15-2003, 07:38 AM Originally posted by paulj I have servers at Datapipe and Dialtone.
