Hi, I'm currently looking round at various reseller plan options and have known about :angry: Devilnet-uk.com for quite some time - an old association with a news network I used to work for occasionally.

Was interested to hear any good/bad opinions or experiences that anyone might've had with them, since they appear quite reasonable and I've had prompt responses to most of my enquiries whenever emailing them (in relation to acceptable bandwidth usage on their servers, since I tend to deal with "net heavyweights").

I'd greatly appreciate any feedback that can be provided. :)

They offer 'Unlimited transfer', need I say anymore than that? If that isn't enough to put you off then it should be, look at all the people that got burnt by the 'unlimited transfer' that FastHosts offered.

I'd also be interested in the 99.9% uptime guarantee as they host with Alabanza (Well, their main site is) and when we were at Alabanza we never once had 99.9% uptime we could maybe just achieve over 99%.

Well, when I queried them as to the "unlimited transfer", I suggested a couple of figures (in this case 50-60gb/month) and they replied that they felt this would be perfectly acceptable on their servers. (In relation to the reseller account, and a domain or two from the off...)

At least on that basis it'd be a little more acceptable than *****'s "unlimited transfer". :)

And I must say, in relation to some features, uptime isn't as important to me. If the company was good, then personally I'd feel 98-99.9% was more than acceptable. I mean, what is that, around 10minutes a day? Of course, the maximum possible is nice, but nothing's perfect when it comes to IT. :)

Hmmmmmmmmm........ I wonder how Devilnet-uk plans to charge for bandwidth, considering Alabanza charges around $10 per GB. They'd be making a tremendous loss if they were truly allowing about 50/60GBs.
