i have had experience with computers since a very early age (programming BASIC on old bbc at the age of 7)
I have around 6 years experience in unix based operating systems with experience in;
SunOS, solaris, linux(Redhat, Debian, SuSE, Mandrake, Corel, Turbolinux), FreeBSD, OpenBSD, novell, windows, MacOS.

I also have experience in key administration skills of unix and windows based systems, including system security, software compilation and installation, e.t.c.

i have administered several servers including my home machines, TakiWeb Communications and VisionHost Networks.

I am willing to work for money, hardware, dedicated server, or consider cpanel reseller account. Can work on a temporary or permanent basis.

I can also program in delphi, php, perl, c, java and VB, and i can create custom applications for custom server tasks.

If you only require consultancy that can be arranged also.

I prefer to work remotely (from home)

Read up on Design Patterns, SEI CMM, RDBMS, and go design and go build a product. Don't waste your time doing support, you'll be stuck doing it forever.

However if you just want to be an admin, you're most likely an INTJ or INTP (Myers Briggs) . These type of people are usually very well organized..

Either way, you need to present yourself much better before looking for work. Your resume needs much work.

And usually when you state your skills, you need to show past experience with it, even if its the dumbest of jobs.

Just a thought.

Thankyou for your comments, its my first time creating a resume, im not very good at all this, but when it comes to linux, networking and servers i can do it. I am a student looking for work to bring just a litte extra money in, to be honest im not really that worried about the money.

Mike Hughes.

INTP, ENTP, same difference.

Actually the percentage is unusually higher in the admin community of Introverts, but its not necessarily the rule.
