View Full Version : I hate "Invalid License File" !!!
Hi,
Anyone knows how to fix "Invalid License File" ?
I've got a VDI server at liquidweb.com. I've emailed
them about the problem. But its been 25 hours,
but nothing happened...
Can I fix it by myself? If so, how?
Do I need to update CPanel and WHM manually?
How?
Anyone have their server at liquidweb? How
is your server? Have you got it fixed?
Our company is starting losing customers because of this... :(
Anyone..Please help me ... :bawling:
Anto.
PS:
I know this is not liquidweb's fault but VDI's.
But at least liquidweb need to help their customers.
AlaskanWolf 05-05-2001, 03:29 AM Maybe you need to contact Liquidweb because this was as as fixed with other hosts within about 2 hours of the beginning of the outage
dektong 05-05-2001, 03:54 AM wow... 25 hours and not yet fixed? I was late to know this problem (yea... really late, around 11pm EST that day), but I got it resolved within 3 hours by Site5. You should definitely contact liguidweb.com, again... and again...
cheers,

thewitt 05-05-2001, 09:55 AM Liquidweb really sucks.

shows you how irresponsible they are.
jack12 05-06-2001, 11:32 AM HELLO,
48 hours passed, we're still getting the "License File Expired" error!
We're hosted by burst.net. I really don't want to ask them for support at this forum. I sent them e-mail two days ago, they do replied. But till now we still can't access the CPANEL/WHM.
Finally I lost all my patience and want to see if Sean.R is here to reply me.
Anyone here willing to explain me if the problem that difficult to resolve?

I've sent you an email with a possible solution. If you're still having problems, let us know by replying to this thread. Carlos of Wizards Hosting should be able to help you out as well.

Mark,
CRego3d told me to patch CPanel3 by myself.
However, it looks like something is missing in
my server.
The patch gave the following error:
The Cpanel Key Server said returned 500 Request Denied - No license entry found
for your machine!
Anyone knows how to solve this problem?
Does it mean that my server was not configured
correctly?
[my server is hosted by liquidweb.com]
Anto.

thewitt 05-06-2001, 12:35 PM Liquidweb got mine running again. I had to call the 800 number however and report it.

William,
I just emailed you. I'm outside USA,
and it is verry expensive to call USA from here.
Waiting for your reply soon ....
Thanks.
Anto.
hostShopping2 05-14-2001, 01:44 AM I'm also at burst and I wish my license was only down for 48 hours. The number of screw ups and emails to burst is about 12 - 15 by now. The only time I get a reply is to tell me to resend my request or open a new ticket. Maybe they moved out of VDI's NOC and don't have a license as they said they did?
I don't like to post these internal things publicly but how many times should I ask for this darn thing to be fixed?
I'm getting this message on all of my servers (in Columbus and Greenville), and Burst is not answering my phone or e-mail requests... They keep telling me that Nick has to handle it, yet they seem to find time to bill me anyway... I guess I'll keep waiting.
BurstNET 05-17-2001, 12:03 PM Anyone still getting "license file expired" errors on any BurstNET license Cpanel install, please contact us at sysadmin@burst.net...the ticket will get routed to me and I'll take care of it ASAP
