I can't or won't be able to do tech support every hour of every day for my customers since I am in college. I'm looking for reg reseller packages going from the usual $20 to $70 but the only difference is the company I'm getting the reseller package from will be doing the tech support and answering support tickets under my company name and my customer that I sold the account to will not know at all that I am a reseller. Are there any good resellers like this?

The whole idea of being on a reseller plan is getting space/bw for a cheap cost because the host does not support the clients.

IF they are willing to do that, it would be alot more expensive then $70 / month.

I suggest one of the 2 things:

(1) get a reseller and outsource support to a company during the times you are not available.. usually pay per ticket or per user.

(2) hook up with a host and do referrals.. ask them for reoccuring commission for each account you send them.. you will get much less $ this way, but you will also have no investment and do alot less work.

Hope this helps you.

Yup, you could opt to outsource your Support to Bobcares.com . I doubt the web host would manage your support function to your clients. Alternatively, you could opt for an Affiliate program where you get a commission for every sales referred to. This way, you will not need to involve yourself with the technical support function.

I don't really understand the point of having a web hosting business when the only thing you need to do is make the web site. You can't sit back and let the money role in and hope that your reseller provider takes care of your business for you.

Just a thought,

Since I've never used either company, and don't really know anything about either of them, I'm not making a recommedation but KDCWorks (http://www.kcdworks.com/) provides (quoting from their website) "support people to man your support forum or helpdesk" and ServerPlex (http://www.serverplex.com/) (from their website) "is currently working on private-label support for our resellers' clientele."

Again, I don't know anything about either company.
