I know this is a bit OT for this forum. I wanted to test using a vBulletin board on WebTV & figured I'd kill two birds with one stone. (Though this WebTV keyboard is killing me.) I have a Dotster-registered domain and have just set up an account with a hosting company for it. I need to transfer the domain from Dotster to the hosting company myself. And of course Dotster's Website give no info on how to transfer out. I've sent queries to Dotster and Usenet but figured I'd ask here too.
Thanks
Rico

ok... Dotster is your registrar.. they are the ones who registered the domain for ya :)
your host is the people that will host the files you want to be shown through your domain...
so here are the steps:
1) ask your host what their nameservers are
2) goto dotster.com
3) login to their domain manager
4) Click on Manage your English Domains
5) Select a domain you want to change in the dropdown list
6) click on Manage
7) Click on Name Servers under View or Edit Your...
8) Remove all the Nameservers that are listed there
9) After completely removing all the original Nameservers, add the nameservers your host gave you
10) Click update
11) You should have an email from dotster telling you about the nameserver change...
12) Wait 24-36 hours for the domain to be pointing toward your host :)
g'luck
