Ok, heres the job:

Total redisgn of www.goldenbakedhams.com

I'm authorized to spend $200 on a new site.
If you can redesign the site, and PM or email me with
the location of your new design of the site, i will look over the submissions, and the one we decide to go with wins the contract for the $200.

I don't want to see portfolios, or past work, i'd like to see a new design of the site. You make it, submit it, and if its the best we receive within the next 48hrs, you get the $200 by wire transfer.

Thanks!

I did consider giving it a try, but who are the people that don't win supposed to try and sell their designs to? It's not like there are hundreds of delicatessen stores looking for a web presence. You'd be better off giving this as a contract to a design company.

we can help you in your project if you can provide 6-7 days
and plus down payment $100
good quality = Time + Good budget + Patience + Hard work
i am sure it must be only 20 hours left from now and within 20 hours we can not provide you quality work (almost no one).
i am also up to show you our company portfolio if you are interested please contact us at project@triplesof.net
Thank you.

The type of work you're looking for is called spec. work; working on speculation, and it's frowned upon in the design industry.
My suggestion is to look at portfolios and choose the designer that you think can do the best job for you, and maybe add a 0 to the end of that $200... even for around $1000 you can get yourself a good, qualified designer.

But then again, it looks like you've found yourself a few who are willing...

Well, what he wants does not seem too work-intensive as a design...

IMO, I think there's too much drop shadow; the shadows are too big. Scale 'em back a bit.

That's not the way web design works. You check out different designer portfolios, choose the one you like best, then agree on a price. We don't work for free.

Thank you...
Can you have ten architects build you a store, then only pay for the one you like most?
