Hello People

I have clients uploading CGI scrip[ts on my server, how do i cross check whether these scripts want hamper my server or how do validate these scripts, so that i can be rest assured that these scripts want cause me much trouble.

I have a Linux RH 7.2 WHM/Cpanel server.

Any comments Please ?

Aside from banning certain scripts and doing periodic checks for the filenames, there isn't much you can do beside watching over your servers and making sure all is well.

Unfortunately, there isn't a robotic substitute for being a good admin...you have to watch the resource usage and figure out when people are abusing. It's not really that difficult. It gets to be more of a pain when you have grown to have several servers to watch over, but it can still be done. :)
