View Full Version : a hosting template...
Golgotha 01-07-2003, 11:07 PM Latest template by www.plasmapages.com and what will probably be the last hosting template for several months. Getting too busy. That said, this is probably my favorite template to date. The asking price is $1000.00 USD. Yes, you read that right and yes I know that many of you are saying, “Impossible, you can’t ask that type of money in the house of the 50 dollar template” Well I am. I know that means the average person here is not going to buy it. I realize that and if I don’t sell it, fine, I’ll hang on to it. But I spent a lot of time on this template and feel that is a fair asking price. When you consider that I usually charge $75 USD an hour for custom work and have spent 15+ hours on this template. It’s a fair asking price. The real business person understands this.

- Notice that this page is 100% complete.
- All slicing and coding is already done- and done well.
- This page can be easily modified in Dreamweaver / FrontPage or any HTML editor.
- All formatting has been done in external CSS for easy maintenance.
- Page looks good in all screen resolutions.
- Page can easily be spidered by Search Engines.
- You get ALL files used in development of the page.
** In addition, I have a handful of successful websites listed in Google with good PageRanks. The owner of this template would receive several links to your site giving you what could be a significant PageRank boost. Many companies spend thousands of dollars alone just to try and get the PageRank that I could get you.
In short, the owner of this template will give their company a high web presence quickly. Well worth the money.

G~
Mekhu 01-07-2003, 11:09 PM Best template I've seen in a long time... should have no trouble trying to sell it!

johngo32 01-07-2003, 11:14 PM Good luck with that, you'll need it. For around that price, someone can get a PRO job done at www.2advanced.com
Impossible, you can?t ask that type of money in the house of the 50 dollar template! :D
Sure you can ask for that type of money - you just won't likely get it here. Anything can sell; you just have to find the right buyer.
The design looks great - good luck on the sale.

I very seriously doubt that. If your minimum is 20k, then yes.
TemplateGuy 01-07-2003, 11:17 PM Double post.
Golgotha 01-07-2003, 11:17 PM :) ha 2A!!
johngo32 01-07-2003, 11:19 PM Actually, I've probably been here for less time then you have.
Just not a $1000 template, sorry...
johngo32 01-07-2003, 11:20 PM Ooookay, now that doesn't make sense cause of your post edit.

Nobody asked for your opinion.. nothing good to say don't say anything at all!
johngo32 01-07-2003, 11:23 PM I'll delete my posts then, I usually restrain myself on these sort of matters, but this just seemed a bit too... nevermind.
Oops, looks like you can't delete on this board, nevermind.
Golgotha 01-07-2003, 11:24 PM sorry, didn't want to jump on the 2A thing when it was already covered. But 1000 USD is actually quite cheap, just doesn't seem like it when you look around here. I realize that I won't likely sell it here. However, I thought I would give the visitors here a chance at it too.
LegendHost 01-08-2003, 12:08 AM Hey,
Awesome design! No comments about price but definately an excellent design. Good luck selling it.
Mo Money 01-08-2003, 12:44 AM amazing template, just loads to slow :( But I hope you sell it, Good luck. You are an incredible designer. :D

HAHAHHAHAHAHA....Oh my god, I'm sorry I just cannot stop the laughter. Ok, try adding TWO ZEROS onto his $1000 figure and you might come close the what 2A would charge for a CHEAP SITE.
BTW, nice template...
Lazarus 01-08-2003, 02:45 AM looks good but I'm getting a bit of trouble with the left tables...

#1) you have to post the url like that :
http://www.subwaydesigns.net/Clipboard01.gif
#2)i dont really know why did those tables expand in you browser
maybe he did adjust thier width.
Golgotha 01-08-2003, 10:03 AM wow Lazarus, what is your Browser? and your screen res?
any ideas why that happend to you?
wello 01-08-2003, 10:20 AM Golgotha
it cannt be the screen res. cause if there is a proplem with that it would have missed with the all the tables, not just 3.
it could be the browser...and it might be somthing in the adjustment of the text box...notice that the proplem is only in the tables containing text boxs.
Golgotha 01-08-2003, 10:27 AM yeah, but I can't find the bug, I don't see what he did ? I usually QA my stuff pretty good and I can't duplicate what he did?
wello 01-08-2003, 10:34 AM humm..i see
did you try to make the text box may be 5 charcters viewable or somthing?
may be thats the proplem...it happend to me once before
Lazarus 01-08-2003, 11:16 AM I've never experienced anything like it on my computer; I'm running a P-III 600Mhz 128ram with IE6.0 and broadband. in 800x600. This might be linked to the input textfield width.
Golgotha 01-08-2003, 11:59 AM Lazarus is this always happening or did it only happen once?
Lazarus 01-08-2003, 01:25 PM it's still happening, I tried refreshing the page, changing default text size, but it still causes trouble.
I also tried it in Netscape 6, it was the same
Opera was a bit better, but the tables still didn't fit perfectly.
Golgotha 01-08-2003, 01:31 PM yeah, Nutscrape 6 is a bust, should be fine in 7.
it's the IE that bugs me. I can't get it to do that.
I'll look at it more tonight. But thanks for your help.
Chaps 01-08-2003, 02:31 PM It does it for me as well...
IE 6...1024...
Good luck on selling it...but it won't happen here.
Golgotha 01-08-2003, 09:08 PM I think I may have fixed it!
Chaps 01-08-2003, 10:10 PM nope...
unless u just haven't uploaded it yet...
i cleared my cache...still broken table.
I know I wouldn't be paying $1000 for a broken table...hehehe :D
Golgotha 01-08-2003, 10:53 PM how bout now?
Chaps 01-08-2003, 11:12 PM nope...still broken...
Golgotha 01-08-2003, 11:16 PM wow, I don't get it...I'll come up with something :)
