You can run, buddy, but you can't hide.

Annette, how about a X-post of the DNS info you dug up?
Happy Easter!

For all domains? Well, I went through just over 1900 domains from a list. Of those, about 950 were listed with TH. Of those, there were a whopping 119 that listed weaselboy (speedyserver) as the owner, admin, tech, and billing contacts. How happy do you think those people will be if/when they decide to change? Of the total number regged with weaselboy, there are many that are just wastelands (i.e., someone registered it and then left it). Of those that were not regged with weaselboy are a number of domains of people that left awhile ago - this I know for sure, since most of them contacted me when they left.
There are also some very interesting domain names in the list that are obviously not registered, but that indicate that people were just playing around with weaselboy: thsucks.com, weaselboyisintrouble.com, peterisgoingtojail.com, etc. None of those is from me, I have to say, but I do find it pretty funny that he would leave directories like those on the server.
On another note, just so folks can see what kind of "support" they'll get: I sent a note (twice) asking a very simple question, to see how the "support" is: "What is the path to sendmail?" Have not received an answer, and it has been a week (and counting)...

I was thinking more of a list of TH clones.

Ah, that. Well, the one that looks identical, of course, is awardhosting.com. I haven't really checked into the others fully, just noted that weaselboy has himself registered as the owner. It's likely (definite, in the case of onestophostingshop.com) that he is not, in fact, the owner, but that those are reseller accounts that for some reason he registered in his own name. Shows the high ethical standards (not!), doesn't it? I'll check into some of those that Tim listed.

I've been following all of these threads for awhile now and I almost hate to see weaselboy go away.....whatever am I going to read on my lunch hours now?
Joey, your writing is so thought-provoking that I actually visited your site and will be signing up. Good job to all!

This dipshit isn't very bright about his cheating people either. The contacts link of www.awrdhosting.com (http://www.awrdhosting.com) actually displays sales@truehosting.com in the status bar!

Not to fear. A little birdie tells me that one recent change in sentencing for computer fraud is the prohibition of ownership of a computer in lieu of jail time. Almost sounds too good for him.
